Soo yeon's fanfiction review~*

1. Love Actually

'Love Actually' is one of the famous movie which was showing in 2003. It contains seven different impressive love stories. However, this fanfiction happens between 11 years old Sam and Joanna. When I read this short story, I can imagine the situation because I have seen the movie before. From the part of the story "Each of them thought 'I hope he really likes me' and 'I hope she really likes me'.", they are so cute and make me feeling a pure mind of love. Although they like each other, they just hesitate and cannot express their feelings. At the end of the story, it remains the lingering imagery and implying something about their future.

2. Just My Luck

From the story, inside 'I' and roommate Amanda talked about Alison who 'I' like. Amanda was hearing and giving him some advices. It attracts and makes sympathization. Generally, most of the people between friends, we are talking and counselling each other when we like or fell in love someone. However, 'I' believe the reason about not connecting with Alison is on his bad luck. I can realize a teaching that wants to give people is do not take a reason on luck in your life. Even there can be a luck but it should not be all part of life. My one of the favorite genre of book or movie is romantic comedy love story so the content of this one was quite interesting for me to read :)

3. Grey's Anatomy

I have already seen all the seasons of this drama. Although I do not interested in something related to medical things, the stories of Meredith and Derek makes me change!! Although I do not have any knowledge about medical words or informations, I can learn some words like seziers or math from reading and watching. This fanfiction wrote about Meredith and Derek's future after they got married. This content of the story has not shown on TV yet. As fanfiction go, she does not want to got her baby but she change her mind and eventually they got a baby!
Even though they had problems, they solve through talking and listening each other's story. After I read it, I felt heartwarming. I was happy to read another version of happyending.

4. Private practice


It is a sequel story of Grey's Anatomy. Addison who was Derek's ex-wife moves her working hospital from Seattle to LA. Addison's characteristic attracts me and want to be like her in the future. Addison is so lovely :) She did best not only for her love when fell in love with someone but also her work when she works. From her a professional mind on job and life, it makes feel me having a respectful mind. I had a chance to learn and make me thinking again about my life. Sometimes people believe TV shows are not good but I do not agree with it. I think it can be another method of learning.

5. Twilight

It is one of the famous fantasy novel. People can imagine and experience a new life through this kind of book. The main people, Jacob and Edward are vampire. Bella who is the Edward's lover is the only normal person. A love trangle is inside. I can figure out that Jacob and Edward are not living a normal life from some sentences, for example 'So, ready to head back tomorrow for our days as 'normal' teenagers?' and 'We both enjoyed life in the city, being able to safely socialize during the day with the humans of the city'. I really expect to read some impact factors, however, there was just the story that is predictable so I was quite disappointed.

6. Alice in Wonderland

It is also a fantasy movie. I guess I really like kind of daydream things :) As this fanfiction goes, it mainly handles about 'time'. For instance, 'Time, for her, meant growing up and forgetting all that she once was and all that once defined her...' and 'Time was static'. I think the conversation is going exciting and they are so cute. It makes me to focus on unrealistic story and feels like I am 'Alice'!

7. Miracles

It was quite short fiction. I felt boring this one even there are some good parts from Rose and Klavier's conversations. When I read the beginning part, Rose and Klavier were saying that they are gave up for their lover and promised feelings. However, she got upset and whimpered suddenly. I could not follow the flow of the story line but the part of ideas were good. Actually it was a short one so the factors are not enough to make me understand I guess.

8. Princess Diaries

One of my valuable things of my life is a 'friendship'. Consideration and belief are the most essential things between best friends. The role of solving or giving advices each other's problems are also important! This fanfiction shows these factors to me from Mia and Lily. When Mia have some worries, Lily encourage and support her. At the end, when Mia said "I am going to buy you another charm for your charm bracelet" to Lily, she patted Mia's shoulder and answered "It better to have diamond". Then they both giggled from their talking and exchanged a hug. I felt heartwaming and impressed from this part. I think having a bestfriend, that existence can be a trasure in my life :)

9. Titanic

Titanic is one of the well known movie. That means, most of the people know about this story!
The fanfiction starts the ending part of the original story. Although I just read through the story, the dangerous situation was approached me lfeel as a real. The writing of description was impressive. The most interesting part was different conclusion. Unlike with original's tragic ending, Jack rescued and live with Rose happily. When I watched it, I was only eleven years old so I got shocked about sad ending and felt pathetic to Rose and Jack. Therefore, I was so happy to read the happy ending version of Titanic !~~ It was really nice one.


10. The Holiday

Two women, Iris and Amanda planned their two weeks holiday for changing their lives each other. Amanda met Iris's brother Graham and Iris met Amanda's friend Miles during their holiday. Actually the movie and this fiction's ending is quite similar. It draw out the happy ending story. They looks so lovely and cute. Through this story, I thought each person's soulmate exists somwhere. The fact that people do not know where and when can we meet is interesting. I hope to meet my soulmate as soon as possible...ha ha :)
